Oculus is a monochrome architectural abstraction that distills a circular skylight into pure geometry, symmetry, and sculptural light. Its radial structure and controlled tonal gradients create a calm, minimal composition that draws the eye toward the central aperture, revealing the architectural precision at the heart of the piece.
Developed as the next evolution of The Portal and Activated, this work pushes the series further into abstraction while maintaining its core architectural language. The intention was to create a form so distilled and self‑contained that it becomes entirely open to interpretation — a structure that feels both familiar and otherworldly.
By reducing the scene to its essential lines and light, Oculus becomes less a depiction of a skylight and more an exploration of order, balance, and spatial clarity — a quiet, meditative statement piece for contemporary, design‑led interiors.

This piece is strictly limited to just three editions. Once all three editions are sold, it will never be produced again.
Each artwork is marked on the reverse with the artist’s insignia and is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.
Aluminium Dibond
Aluminium Dibond is a composite material. It is 3mm (1/8 in.) thick and has 3 layers. Two aluminium layers sandwich a black polyethylene core. The lateral face is black. An image printed on aluminium Dibond is a top-grade, robust print with a long lifespan.
It is a water resistant, durable, UV print with impressive luminosity and depth. Unlike standard framed prints or acrylic prints, it provides a matte, glare-free finish, making it suitable for brightly lit areas.
Each artwork will come complete with an aluminium ArtBox frame, which gives the piece a sleek, elegant, modern feel. The reverse of the frame doubles as a built-in hanging rail, making the piece ready to hang.

Limited edition artworks are printed to order by WhiteWall in Germany. Please allow 2-4 weeks for production, quality checks, and delivery.

All aluminium Dibond artworks are personally delivered by the artist to any location in mainland UK. There is a particular satisfaction in seeing a piece hung in it's new home for the first time, and in taking a moment to speak with my collectors who choose to live with my work.
